C.M. inaugurates painting exhibition No.1180/2011-PUB PRESS NOTE October 23, 2011 Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister today inaugurated a three day long painting exhibition of Shri Rajinder Pasricha, Ms. Ambalicka Sood Jacob, Ms. Sukhranjan Kaur, Ms. Daljit Kaur and Ms. Jasmine Kaur by lighting the ceremonial lamp at Tavern Hall in the historical Gaiety theatre here today. The Exhibition has been jointly organised by Art, Language and Culture Department and Chail Heritage Foundation. Chief Minister took keen interest in the paintings displayed in the exhibition and congratulated the artists for their unique paintings. He appreciated the creativity shown by the painters by depicting different aspects of life and nature. Shri Virender Kanwar, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Shri A.N. Sharma, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Shimla, Shri Onkar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, Dr. Prem Sharma, Director, Art, Language and Culture and other senior officers were present on the occasion among others.
